A Little Something Special

I hope your week started off well & where ever you are in the world you are doing great…

This sweet card was made using the following:

Field of Flowers Bundle

Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies

Whisper White Cardstock – 1/2 sheet & 1 piece @ 2 & 5/16” x 5 & 13/16” plus a small scrap 3” x 3”

Misty Moonlight Cardstock – 1 @ 2 & 3/4” x 5 & 13/16”

Small scraps – Poppy Parade, Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry & Pretty Peacock cardstock

Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo

Smokey Slate, Shaded Spruce & Pretty Peacock Ink

Multipurpose Glue & Dimensionals

Bone Folder

Paper snips/scissors

Let’s put it together:

Fold your half sheet of Whisper White & burnish with bone folder, pop aside

Take the Misty Moonlight cardstock piece & run through embossing folder

With Shaded Spruce Ink stamp the grass/leaves/flowers along the bottom approx 1/4” from bottom edge – the stamp is not quite big enough to go all the way across so you will need to stamp a second time to fill the end(don’t panic if it’s not straight, as the ribbon & stamped circle will disguise/cover it) glue this piece to embossed Misty Moonlight piece & set aside

Also with Shaded Spruce stamp the large stem image & cut out with 2” circle stitched framelit, set aside

On Whisper White scrap, with Poppy Parade stamp the 2 flowers & fussy cut with paper snips/scissors then with dimensionals attached to stitched circle

From Poppy Parade, Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry & Pretty Peacock cardstock scraps punch out flowers – position on grass/leaves/flowers image until you are happy with the combination & amount(I used 10 in total) then stick in place with a tiny dot of Multipurpose Glue. Attach ribbon to the bottom edge of stamping & tie in a knot cut to neaten ends, use a glue dot under know if ribbon is loose.

Position the Misty Moonlight/stamped Whisper White piece evenly to get an idea of where your words need to be stamped – then using Smokey Slate stamp ‘Thinking of you’ at the top left approx 1/2” from edge & then stamp ‘My Friend’ in the bottom right approx 1/2” from edge & finish by stamping dragon flies next to the words in Pretty Peacock.

With dimensionals attach Misty Moonlight/Whisper White piece to card base, next attach stitched circle with dimensionals as I have in photos

If you would like to stamp inside now is the perfect time, I chose to leave mine blank.

You’re finished, if you need any of the supplies you can get them below, please ask any questions.

Thanks so much for stopping by, enjoy your Sunday…
