Kelly’s Stampin Friends Birthday Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday & welcome to my blog! Today I am participating in a Blog Hop for the lovely Kelly Kents Birthday, yippee! Grab a cuppa & settle in.

Whether you are starting on my page or have come here from Narelle Simm’s blog, you are in for a treat.

My card for today’s hop

I have been wanting to use this ‘First Frost’ Stamp Set/bundle for a while now, so when this blog hop was discussed I knew it had to be for this occasion…& I love it! I am a little partial to flowers…can’t wait to create more with this set.

I tried to capture the detail, as I have used both the subtles & tin tile embossing folders…they are both divine, add to that a little bling, with the metallic sequins & wallah

The colours used are whisper white, highland heather, mossy meadow & gray granite

Next up is the clever Lou Kitzelman, but don’t stop there make sure you have a look at all the beautiful creations & wish Kelly a Happy Birthday too…Best Wishes Kelly

  1. I wouldn’t have thought to put those flowers with the tin tile background in foil, but it looks amazing!

  2. That embossing folder seems to have been made for foil – it’s perfect! You’ve used a beautiful combination of sets here to make for a really lovely card. I love the extra bling. – Siobhan.

  3. Love the contrast of the soft watercolour wash flowers paired with the foil embossing and the subtle embossing too. So much gorgeousness. ❤️❤️❤️

  4. This is so pretty Catherine! I love the contrast of the tin details and the soft, posy of blooms – it’s just gorgeous! And your choice of colours and leaf details are beautiful too.
